Esther Mwende Macharia Leaves Radio Maisha After Months of Unpaid Work at the station

Renowned radio presenter Esther Mwende Macharia has decided to part ways with Radio Maisha, a station she has been a part of for the past 14 years. Mwende announced her departure on Saturday, August 17th.

In an emotional message shared on her social media platforms, Mwende expressed her deep gratitude to Standard Media Group, the parent company of Radio Maisha, for the opportunities they provided her throughout her career.

“I wish to announce my departure from Radio Maisha and Standard Group, effective immediately. I would like to thank the management at Standard Group for the opportunity to grow both my career and my brand over the last 14 years,” Mwende shared in her post.

She also took the time to acknowledge her loyal fans, who have supported her throughout her journey. Mwende reassured them that she is not stepping away from the media industry entirely and hinted at exciting new opportunities on the horizon.

“Most importantly, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my FANS across the country and beyond for standing by the Queen. You all are the best, and I truly appreciate you. I can’t wait to share my next venture with you so that I can continue DOING what I DO BEST,” she added.
