Eight people killed in accident involving 3 vehicles at Ngata blackspot Eldoret-Nakuru Highway

Tragedy struck on Tuesday morning, April 9th, as a devastating accident claimed the lives of eight individuals, including two young children. The incident occurred at the notorious Ngata black spot area along the Eldoret-Nakuru Highway.

According to reports, the accident transpired around 5:40 am involving a tanker bearing the registration KBB584R/Zc8580, traveling towards Nakuru City. Sadly, the driver lost control upon approaching the black spot, veering from his designated traffic lane.

In a harrowing sequence of events, the tanker collided head-on with a Toyota Hiace, identified by registration number KCP 599X, which was en route from Nakuru to Eldoret. The impact was severe, causing the Toyota Hiace to subsequently collide with an Isuzu FRR truck bearing registration number KBZ032N, situated in the climbing lane.

Tragically, the collision claimed the lives of six adults and two children instantaneously. Amidst the chaos, one woman sustained injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
