‎Drama in Nakuru as Angry Mob Corners Pakistani Man Accused of selling Fake Phones to Locals

‎Tense moments unfolded in Nakuru after angry residents cornered a man identified as Shabbir, accusing him of orchestrating a series of fraud schemes in the area.

‎The crowd, demanding justice, reportedly threatened to lynch him before police officers swiftly intervened, saving his life. However, his two suspected accomplices managed to escape during the chaos.

‎According to investigators, Shabbir and his associates have been running similar scams in the region, conning unsuspecting victims of large sums of money. Police further revealed that he already had pending fraud cases at Ahero Police Station, where he had previously been released on bail.

‎> “He had been ordered to report back to the station on August 20, 2025, but instead continued with his fraudulent activities,” the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) stated.

‎Shabbir is now in police custody for questioning as authorities intensify the search for his two accomplices who remain at large.

‎Law enforcement has urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report suspected scammers to the authorities rather than resorting to mob justice.
