The Mugithi sensation caused a stir when he was spotted driving an older vehicle, as his usual white Mercedes was nowhere in sight.
Fatxo took to social media to share a post, urging his fans to pray for him after being seen behind the wheel of an old Toyota Corolla.
“I’m going back to basics, but it’s only temporary… Keep praying for me,” Fatxo wrote.
The decision to drive the older car came after Fatxo disclosed that he was leaving his apartment in Kasarani.
During an interview with Radio Jambo, DJ Fatxo explained that he had to relocate from his tenth-floor apartment due to the passing of Jeff.
Fatxo expressed his belief that he couldn’t continue residing in the same house because it may have been infiltrated by malevolent spirits.
“In my Kikuyu culture, there are certain beliefs surrounding curses, taboos, and abominations. If someone passes away in a specific location, it’s considered taboo to remain there, as strange spirits may have taken over,” he explained.
Furthermore, Fatxo mentioned that he couldn’t immediately move out of the apartment due to ongoing investigations by the DCI (Directorate of Criminal Investigations).
“The DCI has prevented me from vacating the premises until they conclude their investigations. But when the time is right, I will relocate,” he assured.
Jeff Mwathi’s grandmother invoked the spirit of the deceased to torment DJ Fatxo until he confesses.
The grandmother insisted that Fatxo would never find peace and that Jeff’s ghost would relentlessly haunt him.
