‎Dark Secrets in Church? Dismissed Catholic Sister Says her Life in Danger After Exposing Priests

‎An ex-Catholic sister has stirred intense debate after claiming her life is in danger for exposing what she describes as “dark secrets” within the church.

‎Kinse Shako Annastacia, who was recently dismissed from her congregation, shocked many when she went public on Facebook, accusing priests of mistreating nuns and using their authority to undermine women of faith.

‎In a bold viral post, she rejected the widespread notion that sisters exist to serve priests, writing: “We are not priests’ wives, bedmates, or ornaments in habits. We are women consecrated to serve God, yet too often treated as less.”

‎Her words sparked outrage and admiration in equal measure. She alleged harassment by priests and even a layman from a Catholic university, recalling moments when a priest openly declared that “sisters are meant to be priests’ wives.”

‎Now, weeks after her dismissal, Annastacia claims her safety is at stake. In a chilling message, she warned that if she were ever silenced, the truth was already documented. “If anything ever happens to me or I suddenly go silent, know the truth is documented. Justice should take its course,” she wrote.

‎Her revelations have ignited questions about power, gender, and accountability in the Catholic Church. As Kenyans react online, many are demanding investigations, while others caution her bravery may come at a heavy personal cost.

‎The story has now thrown a spotlight on a rarely discussed issue—what really happens behind the stained-glass walls of the church.
