Christina Shusho Talks of Her Love For Nyashinki, asks to Work Together

Tanzanian gospel sensation, Christina Shusho, has expressed admiration for the musical prowess of Nyamari Ongegu, professionally known as Nyashinski, lauding his adeptness in composing songs that convey diverse messages.

Shusho appreciates Nyashinski’s songwriting style, noting a compelling serenity that deeply resonates with her. She commended his ability to artfully package words, delivering profound messages through his music.

“I truly appreciate Nyashinski’s song composition. There’s a tranquility in his work that resonates with me on a profound level,” remarked Shusho.

In a recent interview on NTV, Shusho conveyed her willingness to collaborate with Nyashinski, expressing eagerness to explore creative possibilities together.

“I am prepared to collaborate with him and explore the musical synergy we can create,” Shusho stated during the interview on Friday, December 29.

Nyashinski, renowned for his lyrical prowess, seamless transition between English and Kiswahili, and socially conscious lyrics, is hailed as one of Kenya’s most popular and respected rappers, earning acclaim for his significant impact on the country’s music scene.

Shusho extended an invitation to Nyashinski to join her concert at Garden City in Nairobi, hosted by comedian Daniel Ndambuki, showcasing the camaraderie among artists.

Upon her arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Shusho expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and support from Kenyan fans. She welcomed everyone to join in giving thanks and praying for grace in the upcoming year.

“For the first time, I believed they love me. I used to think I love Kenyans more than they love me, but now I am convinced they love me too. I am here because of the demand from the public,” she shared, emphasizing the reciprocal affection between her and Kenyan fans.

Shusho’s song “Shusha Nyavu” stands out as one of her most beloved compositions, amassing over 8.4 million views on YouTube, attesting to the widespread appeal of her music.
