Immediately after college, Chemutai joined KTN as an intern. While there she took a special interest in reporting. It is in KTN that Chemutai furnished her journalism skills.
Goin landed her first job in Capital FM as a reporter. Other media houses did not take long to notice her prowess. Not long after working in Capital FM, Chemutai joined Media Max where she covered politics/current affairs for K24.
In 2018, Citizen TV could not wait any longer to have her on board. Immediately after joining the giant media house, Chemutai understood her role well. She spiced the screens with well narrated events of 2017 general elections.

Chemutai’s journalistic prowess became more visible in 2020 during the onset of Corona Virus. The sultry media personality traversed various parts of the country to cover incidences and events arose from the disease
It is through her efforts that former President Uhuru Kenyatta noticed her. On 1st June of 2020 during the Madaraka Day the President gave Chemutai a state commendation. She was lauded for her efforts in creating awareness against the Corona Virus Pandemic.
Love life
Little is known of Chemutai love life.The talented journalist has managed to keep her relationship private. She is however a proud mum of a beautiful daughter. She regularly posts her cute photos on social media accounts.
