The Kenyan Government has made a u-turn on the large numbers Asian foreigners entering the country through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

As earlier reported by muranganewspaper.co.ke, Government Explains The High Number Of Indians Landing In Kenya.
The Kenyan Government has come out clean on the high numbers of Indians landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Through its Spokesperson, Cyrus Oguna, the government on September 27 said that the Indian nationalities are in Kenya as tourists chiding the speculations that the country is granting asylum to Afghans who are fleeing the Taliban.
He said that every Indian entering the country has legal documents explaining his or her intent in visiting the country.
“They are tourists in the country legally and some prefer travelling and staying as families,” Oguna noted.
This is after a video of Asians landing at the international airport went viral.
Speculations were that the aliens were on transit to Saudi Arabia and had been put on quarantine in a Kenyan facility before proceeding with their journey.
Oguna said that the Indian nationalities would be put on mandatory quarantine and will not be seen roaming the country freely.
This comes barely two months after the Ugandan government agrees to host 2,000 Afghani refugees following an agreement with the United States of America.
