Akothee confirms Love relationship with Nelly Oaks

Kenyan songstress Esther Akoth, better known as Akothee, has recently clarified the nature of her relationship with her manager and former lover, Nelly Oaks, putting an end to swirling rumors.

In the past few days, Akothee has been adorning her social media platforms with adorable snapshots featuring herself and Nelly Oaks. Through some of her social media posts, Akothee has showered Oaks with affectionate words, sparking speculation among netizens about a potential romantic connection.

After enduring several days of unfounded speculation, the CEO of Akothee Safaris chose to shed light on her association with Nelly Oaks.

Akothee shared a photograph of herself and Nelly boarding a plane as they made their way from Migori County to Nairobi. She went on to refer to Oaks as “the love of her life.”

“Good morning, Team Positivity. Isn’t this Migori’s plane just filling up, my goodness? Migori is where the money is, 🤣🤣. Imagine we couldn’t fly on Monday due to last-minute bookings, and today I had the privilege of flying with my permanent and forever love, Nelly Oaks,” she conveyed in part.

Not long ago, Akothee made headlines when she announced her separation from her Mzungu husband, Denis Schweitzer, also known as Omosh, just two months after their grand wedding, which had drawn the attendance of various politicians and celebrities.

The renowned “Niko Single” artist posted an extensive message where she divulged that she has been undergoing a healing process. Although she did not explicitly specify the reason for the breakup, Akothee cited dishonesty as one of the contributing factors.

“I have emerged from a profoundly distressing period, and I have been working on my recovery in private. I am currently in my second month of therapy. The trauma I endured after discovering the truth and some unpleasant revelations left me shaken. I went through days without eating and sleep, grappling with internal questions and self-reflection. Some days were incredibly burdensome; nights would seamlessly transition into days as I stared blankly out the window, lost in thought. I would tremble without a clear explanation.

“Nelly Oaks had me on speed dial. He would call me incessantly and would become alarmed when my phone was unreachable. My children, especially the girls, made sure we FaceTimed regularly to check on my well-being. Rue accompanied me to Europe, out of concern for losing me, and she cared for me until I could stand on my own,” she revealed.
