“I was approached by a very senior person in this country who offered to buy my property but I said no. I am ready to pay them their money but the problem is, they don’t want my money or my property”Rafael Tuju

Rafael Tuju has alleged that powerful individuals are attempting to force him to surrender his land despite his willingness to settle any financial claims.

Speaking about the dispute, Tuju claimed he was once approached by a highly placed individual in the country who expressed interest in purchasing the property. However, he said he declined the offer and instead proposed to repay any money owed.

According to Tuju, the individuals involved are not interested in financial compensation or other property but are determined to take over the land itself. He further alleged that he has even been advised to relocate his belongings to Rarieda and leave the land behind.

Tuju strongly rejected the idea, insisting that he will not give in to what he described as extortion. He maintained that he is ready to resolve the matter legally but will continue defending his ownership of the contested property.

The dispute over the prime land has been the subject of legal battles, drawing public attention and raising questions about land ownership and influence in high-profile property cases in Kenya.
