Kasongo akiendelea kudhulumu wakenya tutamrudisha Hague~Martha Karua

Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua has warned that former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko could face international prosecution if he continues actions she described as harming Kenyans.

In a recent statement, Karua said, “Kasongo akiendelea kudhulumu Wakenya tutamrudisha Hague. Mara ya kwanza alikua Hague lakini kesi yake ikapotea kwa sababu washaidi wote walikosekana na hawajawai kupatikana hadi wa leo. Lakini sasa akiendelea na hizi sarakasi zake tutamrudisha huko afungwe kabisa,” signalling that previous attempts at international prosecution had stalled but could be revived.

Her remarks reference the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, implying that Sonko, also known by the nickname Kasongo, could face renewed scrutiny if alleged abuses continue.

The statement has sparked reactions online, with supporters praising her firm stance on accountability, while critics argue that such comments could escalate political tensions. Analysts say the exchange highlights ongoing debates over justice and governance in Kenya, particularly concerning high-profile politicians.
