Political commentator Omosh has made a bold declaration, asserting that no coalition, regardless of its size or composition, can unseat President William Ruto. Speaking recently, he claimed that even if former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka were to align with religious figures, political rivals, or prominent leaders such as Martha Karua, Rigathi Gachagua, or former President Uhuru Kenyatta, it would not be enough to defeat Ruto.
“Kalonzo hata akiungana na Yesu Kristo, na Shetani, na Martha Karua, na Gachagua, hata na Uhuru Kenyatta, hawezi toa Ruto!” Omosh said, emphasizing his view of the President’s strong political standing.
The remarks highlight the perception among some commentators that Ruto’s political base remains resilient, particularly in key regions. Analysts note that such statements, while hyperbolic, reflect the confidence of supporters and commentators aligned with the Kenya Kwanza administration as the 2027 general elections approach.
Reactions on social media were mixed, with supporters agreeing with Omosh’s assessment, while critics dismissed the statement as exaggeration. The comment underscores the heightened rhetoric and growing polarization in Kenya’s political discourse as parties strategize for the next electoral cycle.
