Sandra grew up in Eldoret, Kenya, in a simple Christian home where her mother always reminded her that staying pure was a choice that required discipline and strong values. As she grew older and joined a university in Nairobi, she quickly discovered that campus life was very different from home. Almost everyone she met believed that virginity was something outdated, and many students lived without any form of restraint. Still, Sandra hoped she would complete her studies without giving in to pressure.
By her second year, the struggle became even harder. Sandra was a very beautiful girl, and many young men admired her. Some promised her love, some tried to tempt her with money, and others pressured her emotionally. The more she tried to stay focused, the more distractions surrounded her.
