Born the fourth child in a family of five, Daisy grew up in Eastlands, Nairobi, where her early educational journey came with its share of challenges.
While attending Ofafa Jericho Primary School, she struggled with English and was often teased by peers, leading her to become introverted.
Motivated to improve, she later joined Ngara Girls’ High School, where she dedicated herself to reading and mastering the language.
After high school, Daisy worked in sales to save for college, living independently in Imara Daima Estate—a decision that shaped her resilience and self-reliance.
Her passion for media and communication led her to enroll at the East Africa School of Media Studies, where she pursued a degree in Mass Communication.
During this time, she was introduced to local theatre and met Victor Ber, a significant figure who encouraged her to pursue acting.
This marked the beginning of her journey on stage, eventually landing her the iconic role of Naliaka on Papa Shirandula.
In her personal life, Daisy married Justus Netia in June 2015 after a long courtship that began during a work trip to Malindi. Their relationship is deeply rooted in faith, and the couple prioritizes a Christ-centered marriage.
A devoted Christian, Daisy has publicly shared her spiritual journey, including a miraculous healing from asthma, which she attributes to a powerful praise and worship session.
