Nanny Rosie shared that she left for Lebanon, a country in the Gulf region, while her youngest child was still breastfeeding. She chose not to inform her children about her departure, except for her daughter, to whom she explained that she would be away for three years.
Now back in Kenya permanently, the mother of three is focused on making up for the time she lost during her absence. Rosie, who has gained viral attention, has been open about her family life since her return.
The devoted mother made the difficult decision to travel to Lebanon in search of better opportunities to support her young family. She left behind her young children, including her breastfeeding lastborn.
Since returning to Kenya, the mother of three is committed to rebuilding her relationship with her children.
“It is tough because a lot has been lost. Leaving my son at such a young age when he was still breastfeeding has affected his growth and development. But I am trying to make amends,” she told Nation FM.
