“Acha ukubaff! Kuja na mamako tufanye DNA test” – Pastor Ng’ang’a tells viral woman claiming to be his daughter

After a viral incident featuring a woman claiming to be his daughter, Apostle James Maina Ng’ang’a has responded to the controversy. Naomi Wangari Maina asserted that she is the firstborn child of Pastor Ng’ang’a. Following her plea for financial assistance on social media to purchase medicine for her son suffering from leukemia, a form of blood cancer, she gained widespread attention. This sparked a debate among Kenyans, questioning why the reputedly wealthy father, Apostle Ng’ang’a, did not step in to help.

In an interview with Tuko, Wangari shared details about her upbringing and her encounters with her father, alleging that she only discovered his identity as an adult. She clarified that despite her father’s perceived wealth, the child in need was not his.

Wangari, who had to leave school at Standard 8 due to financial constraints, recounted how she unknowingly followed her father’s televised messages and attended his crusades without recognizing him. Throughout her childhood, she believed the man raising her with her mother was her father, a secret kept by her aunt.

As fate would have it, Apostle Ng’ang’a sought Wangari out after a crusade in Kinagop, where she was raised. She initially dismissed his calls, finding it hard to believe, but eventually, she connected the dots after mentioning her uncle, mother, and grandfather.

Confronting her mother with this revelation, Wangari claimed her mother downplayed the situation. Later, they arranged a meeting with her father, during which he confirmed his paternity. However, in response, Pastor Ng’ang’a dismissed her claims, insisting on a DNA test to validate her relationship with him.

“I have so many kids, and if you want me to accept you, even if your mother had died. I have seen her all over complaining. Bring your mother so that we can do DNA first. Don’t try to put me in the media,” responded Pastor Ng’ang’a. He also emphasized that anyone claiming to be his child should show him fatherly respect and support, citing a lack of gifts or gestures from Wangari during her visits to his house.
