“Nakata Aje nimpe a tight hug,” a Kenyan woman has openly expressed her desire to meet the controversial former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko.
During an interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, Maryanne Njoki revealed her aspirations. She showcased an intricate tattoo of Mike Sonko’s visage on her thigh during the conversation.
In her dialogue with Nicholas, Maryanne unveiled the rationale behind her decision to immortalize the former politician’s likeness through ink. She emphasized her admiration for Mike Sonko due to his philanthropic endeavors and charitable contributions.
“Let me put it this way, I’ve had his image tattooed because I admire his work… mmh, let him keep it up,” she conveyed.
Expanding upon her sentiments, the lady confessed her yearning to meet Mike Sonko, envisioning an eventual embrace between them.
“I genuinely wish to cross paths with him, as we’ve never met before… just an introduction. Even if he agrees to a hug, I would gladly oblige. Regardless of any negative talk, I will still offer it. A firm one,” she supplemented.
The public response in Kenya was diverse, with many speculating that her intentions were financially motivated.
“It sounds like you’re after money, dear. Be open about your intentions… claims of adoration for his work are just a façade 😂😂😂”
“This situation has escalated to a whole new level. Smart lady, aiming to become the next favored individual.”
“These Kikuyu ladies and their relentless pursuit of Rosecoco 🫂🫂🫂🙄🙄🙄🤔🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”
“Moreover, Sonko might just inadvertently cause her to lose her composure… that would undoubtedly become a historical moment.”
“My dear friend has imprinted a tattoo and received 5k, then Mike Sonko showered her with 100k, clothes, and a job offer. My friend, then, willingly became Sonko’s benefactor, while Sonko played his part. Clever, isn’t it?”
“All of this is fueled by financial necessity. Poverty doesn’t discriminate; it leads people to make erratic and, sometimes, irrational decisions.”
“The ultimate objective is to secure Kavagara on the table.”
