A 23-year-old woman residing in Kajiado County finds herself in legal trouble following the mysterious death of her 59-year-old romantic partner at her residence.
According to a police report, the young woman, identified as Beth Wanjiku, had welcomed her lover, Stephen Joshua Muirui, into her rental home on Balozi Road. Their evening unfolded with a shared meal of meat stew and Ugali.
At approximately 4:00 PM on a Wednesday, the woman reported that the man proposed they retire to the bedroom for an intimate encounter. Tragically, during their intimate moment, the man suddenly lost consciousness.
Fearing for the man’s life, the woman promptly contacted one of his friends who rushed to her aid and assisted in transporting the man to Pona Hospital. Regrettably, upon reaching the hospital, medical professionals declared the man deceased.
In response to the incident, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kitengela visited the scene of the incident. Their initial assessment yielded no significant pieces of evidence or exhibits.
Subsequently, the police took the deceased’s body to the Kitengela Sub County Mortuary, where it will undergo a postmortem examination to determine the precise cause of death.
Tragically, occurrences of men perishing under similar circumstances have become more prevalent recently. Many men are believed to be resorting to substances aimed at enhancing their sexual performance, often leading to tragic consequences.
