Born on March 16, 1983, Yvonne is the youngest of three siblings, growing up in a household that shaped her character and resilience.
Her educational journey commenced at All Saints Cathedral Primary School in Nairobi before she moved on to Kianda High School.
Through sheer hard work, unwavering persistence, and an indomitable zeal, Yvonne secured a place at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where she pursued her studies.

Presently, she holds a pivotal role at Royal Media Services (Citizen TV) as a senior news anchor and the editor in charge of research and planning.
