Renowned Kenyan female celebrity, YouTuber, and content creator, Mungai Eve, has recently disclosed the substantial offers she received to sell her YouTube channel, which ranks among the top channels with the highest number of subscribers in Kenya.

In an interview with DNA, who has recently returned to the music industry with a new interview show after a period of silence, Mungai Eve shared insights into the attention her YouTube channel has garnered, attracting offers from both individuals and prominent organizations.

Reflecting on her journey, Eve recalled the rapid ascent of her channel, which began two years ago in 2020 amidst the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Remarkably, it took her just one day and one video to amass 1,000 subscribers and reach 4,000 watch hours. The pivotal moment came with her inaugural video featuring the renowned Sheng master, Madocho.

Such exponential growth naturally drew the interest of various organizations and affluent figures, who made enticing financial offers to acquire her channel. Notably, Eve disclosed that she was offered Ksh. 10 million by a prominent tycoon associated with a specific organization. However, driven by her unwavering vision for her content, she declined the lucrative offer.

Presently, Mungai Eve’s YouTube channel boasts over 560,000 subscribers, generating a monthly income exceeding Ksh. 1.5 million. This success has not only enabled her to realize her dreams but has also empowered her to purchase a car and invest in diverse fields, illustrating the transformative power of digital content creation.
