My name is James Okello, and I come from Jinja, Uganda. A few years ago, nobody knew me. I was just another young man trying to survive, struggling to make ends meet, and dreaming of becoming someone important. I always wanted to be popular, to have a name that people would talk about with respect. But no matter how hard I tried, things never seemed to work out for me. I would attend auditions, try different business ideas, and even push myself on social media, but the recognition I was looking for never came.
Life was frustrating. I watched my friends succeed while I remained stuck in the same place. People who were less talented than me were becoming known and respected.
