Fearless vlogger Andrew Kibe has vehemently criticized Bahati and his wife, Diana, regarding the recent arrest of former gospel artist Wilson Radido, better known as Willy Paul.
In a candid conversation with Trudy Kitui during his Nairobi Street Kitchen Show, focused on rejuvenating Kenya’s comedy scene, Kibe didn’t hold back in attributing Willy Paul’s arrest to Bahati’s failure to manage his spouse.
Kibe asserted that had Bahati shown more assertiveness, Willy Paul wouldn’t have found himself in a legal debacle. He argued that Bahati and Diana Marua exhibited a lack of prudence and empathy.
“If Bahati had been more of a man, Willy Paul wouldn’t be facing arrest and court appearances. Bahati and his wife Diana Marua lack the wisdom and compassion needed in such situations,” Kibe remarked.
He further criticized Diana, branding her as dishonest and accusing her of concocting falsehoods against Willy Paul.
“This is all a charade. Why play such games with someone? She’s a liar. Willy Poze, I stand with you,” the outspoken vlogger added.
Willy Paul was apprehended at his residence in Syokimau on Monday, amid speculation on social media that Diana Marua had reignited her previously reported sexual assault allegations from 2021.
However, Mideyah Digital Media has learned that the singer’s arrest pertains to two separate cases: a hit-and-run incident and allegations of cyberbullying.
In 2021, Diana and Bahati had reported a cyberbullying incident allegedly involving Willy Paul to the authorities. This came after Willy Paul had made public statements on social media regarding his purported romantic involvement with Diana.
Subsequent to Willy Paul’s online revelations, Diana accused him of sexual assault. In response, Willy Paul initiated legal proceedings, demanding evidence from Diana in the form of a video.
Since then, tensions between the parties have escalated, both online and offline.
