Security Team Installed To Guard Atwoli’s Controversial Road Sign Against Hooligans.

A section of Atwoli’s die hard fans on Tuesday, June 22, vowed to guard the COTU Secretary-General’s road sign again being Vandalized.

The group made up of youths from informal settlements of Mukuruu Kwa Yaba, Korogocho, Dandora, Kariobangi and Ruaraka said that they would give the signage a 247 security.

Addressing the media, the group warned anyone trying to take down the road sign saying that they were ready to sleep next to the sign.

“We are here to show Atwoli love because he is one of us from the ghetto who has succeeded and we look at him as a role model,” commented the spokesperson.

“We saw criminals denying our leader a peace of mind by destroying his road signage which is why we contributed money and built him another signage,” the youths mentioned.

Atwoli was honored on May 27, by the Nairobi County Government led by its Deputy Governor, Ann Kananu.

The road sign has been vandalized twice with the latest being when it was lit to flames.
