”Tunataka Kulia Sio Kucheka”Kenyans Blast Christina Shusho For Combining Her Concert With Churchill Show

Christina Shusho, a renowned gospel artist, has faced criticism from her Kenyan fanbase in anticipation of her highly-publicized concert scheduled for December 31st.

The event, named “The Crossover,” promises a stellar performance by the gospel superstar, alongside fellow gospel musicians and popular comedians. The concert, hosted by the well-known local comedy program Churchill Show, has stirred discontent among fans who believe that the inclusion of comedy might detract from what could have been a profoundly spiritual worship experience.

Among the dissatisfied fans is Pritty Vishy, the former girlfriend of the popular musician Stivo Simple Boy. She took to her Instagram account to express her reservations about the mega concert. Vishy explained that she had reconsidered attending the event because she was expecting a comprehensive Christina Shusho experience, not an abundance of comedy overshadowing the musical aspect.

Vishy’s sentiments resonated with other Kenyans, who flooded the comment section with their opinions on the unfolding drama. Some expressed a desire for a more focused worship experience without the distraction of comedy, while others humorously suggested unconventional timelines for the event.

“Kucheka already serikali inatuchekesha na uongo…tunataka performance from 10 pm hadi 3 pm alafu tumalizie 1842 ama namna gani?”
“We did not want to zero graze around comedy; we wanted a free-range chaotic uncontrolled Prophet Owuor rowdy type of setup.”
“31st utaskia Christina Shusho akisema ametumwa na Mungu na sisi tumemuita,” commented netizens.

Responding to the growing concerns, Shusho took to her Twitter account to reassure fans that she would deliver a performance filled with singing and worship, ensuring the audience’s satisfaction.

The “Crossover” concert is set to take place at Garden City Nairobi and will showcase performances from Salvado, Nasra, Mammito, Captain Otoyo, and the sensational Ethan Music and Kinoti.
