Brian Chira’s grandmother recently celebrated the completion of her new house with a heartfelt opening ceremony, attended by close family and friends. The house, named “Chira’s Clan” in memory of her late grandson, reflects the deep love and respect the family holds for him.

A portrait of Brian Chira was prominently displayed at the entrance of the house, serving as a tribute to his memory. The home boasts modern amenities, including a well-furnished kitchen and a spacious living room, showcasing the effort and care put into its construction.

In a recent video shared online by digital content creator Obidan Della, Chira’s grandmother joyfully announced the completion of the house. She expressed profound gratitude to everyone who supported her after the tragic loss of her grandson, particularly the TikTok community. “I just want to thank you all. I am overwhelmed by what you have done. I pray that TikTokers are blessed by God, and that you continue to check on me,” she said in Swahili. She warmly invited her supporters to visit the new home, highlighting the guest rooms built for visitors.

The TikTok community played a significant role in fulfilling the late Brian Chira’s dream of providing a modern home for his grandmother. Chira’s life was tragically cut short in a hit-and-run accident in Karuri, Kiambu County. A friend who was with him that night revealed that Chira had been out at a local club and had consumed too much alcohol.

The community raised over Ksh 8 million for Chira’s funeral, which also included funds for his grandmother’s house. On March 26, Brian Chira was laid to rest on his grandmother’s ancestral land in Gitei village, Gathanje, Kiambu County, where his memory continues to live on through the home named in his honor.
