Trisha Khalid Expresses Her Frustration After Her Electricity Bill Shoots From Ksh.8000 To Ksh.54,000 A Month

Famous actress Trisha Khalid has voiced her frustration after her monthly electricity bill suddenly shot up from Ksh. 8,000 to a shocking Ksh. 54,000.

The actress said she was in disbelief when she received the bill and took to social media to ask Kenyans what could have caused such a drastic hike by KPLC.

According to Trisha, she has consistently paid around Ksh. 8,000 every month, only for the company to now demand Ksh. 54,000. She revealed that she has since raised the matter with KPLC’s customer care, who promised to look into it.

However, Trisha suspects foul play, suggesting that the company might be trying to con her. She also pointed out that many Kenyans are struggling with unusually high bills due to such “errors.”

Meanwhile, singer Yvette Obura also complained that her electricity tokens are depleting unusually fast. She questioned whether this is a nationwide problem or if only a few customers are affected.
