‎Speculation As Source Alleges Diseases Raila Could Be Receiving Treatment For At Dubai Hospital

‎Speculation over the health of ODM party leader Raila Odinga has intensified after he was spotted at King’s College Hospital in Dubai
.

‎Photos shared online showed the former Prime Minister in a relaxed mood, watching a football match alongside Awendo MP Walter Owino. ODM has since confirmed that Raila is on a medical holiday, though no further details were disclosed.

‎King’s College Hospital is a world-class medical facility with branches in London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Jeddah. The hospital is renowned for its advanced technology, top specialists, and comfortable environment catering to both local and international patients.

‎The hospital offers a wide range of specialist services, including orthopaedics, cardiology, gastroenterology, hepatology, paediatrics, and neurology. It also provides cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, dermatology, and vascular treatments — earning a reputation as one of the best facilities in the region for complex medical care.

‎Consultation fees vary depending on the condition, with patients paying between Ksh74,000 and Ksh120,000 per visit. Executive health check-ups cost about Ksh130,000 for men, Ksh148,000 for women, and up to Ksh204,000 for older patients.
‎Raila’s recent absence from public events had fuelled speculation about his health, but ODM insists he is simply taking a short break. Still, several political figures have urged him to address the public to put the rumours to rest.
