Pastor James Ng’ang’a of the Neno Evangelism Center has delivered a powerful message to the Mount Kenya community in response to those opposing Vice President Rigathi Gachagua.
During a recent packed service, Ng’ang’a voiced his frustration with the movement to remove Gachagua from office. He urged the local population to allow the Deputy President to complete his five-year term.
“People from the mountain, I’ve heard that you want to remove Gachagua. Why are you undermining him?” Ng’ang’a asked his congregation. “Why are you trying to get rid of Gachagua? Let him finish his five years,” he insisted.
The pastor was firm in his stance, stating that those who oppose Gachagua should consider leaving his church. “If you want to get rid of him, don’t come back here. This Sunday, no one from the mountain will be allowed in. Solve your issues elsewhere,” he declared.
Ng’ang’a also warned against placing too much trust in politicians, whom he labeled as dishonest. “You know these politicians; let me tell you, the people of Mount Kenya, as someone who is spiritually aware, I can see. Politicians are liars and conmen,” he cautioned.
Ng’ang’a’s remarks come amid growing political tensions in the Mount Kenya region, where some leaders have publicly expressed dissatisfaction with Gachagua’s leadership.
