Marongo, popularly known as the Gen Z Goliath, is a young man who lives in Kangemi but originally comes from Majengo, Vihiga County. Recently, he opened up about why he has never owned a pair of shoes in his entire life.
At just 27 years old, Bradley explained that his unusually large feet make it nearly impossible for him to find shoes that fit. He wears size 49 or 50, but most shops in Kenya only stock up to size 45, which is far too small for him.
As a result, Bradley has grown accustomed to wearing sandals made from vehicle tires. These sandals are durable and custom-made, providing a comfortable fit for his large feet. However, he is now searching for a skilled shoemaker or vendor who can supply him with properly fitting shoes.
