Kenyan comedian turned radio host, Kendrick Mulamwah, has brought joy to his fans with the announcement of his comeback on Milele FM. Just a few days after his unexpected departure from the Mediamax-owned radio station, Mulamwah has confirmed his return to the airwaves.
Mulamwah revealed that he has resolved the issues and misunderstandings with the top management of Milele FM. He shared this positive news with his followers on social media, expressing his satisfaction with the resolution reached after a lengthy and productive discussion.
“I am delighted to announce my return to MILELE FM. After productive discussions and reaching an agreement, I’m back on air from 1-4 pm, Monday to Friday. Thank you to all my fans for your support and encouragement. KONKIIII đ. Let’s make it happen on MILELE!” Mulamwah wrote on his Facebook page.
The news of Mulamwah’s comeback not only thrilled his fans, who welcomed him back with immense joy, but also his fellow radio host Meshack Jillani, known as The Sultan of Chonyi, who hosts the popular program #SHOWKONKI on the station.
Meshack Jillani shared his excitement on social media, assuring the audience that #SHOWKONKI will now deliver the best in radio entertainment. “It’s time to shine! Let’s do this,” Meshack Jillani posted.
Mulamwah’s return to Milele FM comes shortly after he had initially left due to unresolved issues with the station’s management. This departure echoed the recent exit of another respected radio personality, Alex Mwakideu, who had also announced his departure over disagreements on employment terms. However, Alex Mwakideu quickly returned to Milele FM shortly after his initial exit, sharing the update with his followers on various media platforms.
The reasons behind this “mass exit” remain unclear, and it is uncertain whether these departures were genuine or merely a publicity stunt to garner attention and boost the station’s listenership. Regardless of the circumstances, the return of Mulamwah and Alex Mwakideu has been met with great enthusiasm from the Kenyan audience, demonstrating the strong support for the station over the years.
