Esther Akoth, affectionately known as Akothee, hails from a warm and supportive family, consisting of her father, Joshua Owino Kokeyo, and her inspiring mother, Monica Yunita Kokeyo. Akothee has proudly declared that both her parents wholeheartedly support her journey in the music industry.
Mr. Joshua Owino Kokeyo, Akothee’s father, is a retired District Officer with a wealth of experience in politics and administration. Meanwhile, her mother, Mrs. Monica Yunita Kokeyo, currently serves as an incumbent Member of the County Assembly, with aspirations to retain her seat in the upcoming August elections.
In contrast to her strong family ties, Akothee appears to be somewhat distant from most of her immediate siblings, both brothers and sisters.
