Kenyan gospel artist Ringtone Apoko is making headlines once again due to his controversial remarks about Kenyan content creator Dem Wa Facebook.
During an event hosted by Guardian Angel, Ringtone expressed his disinterest in pursuing a relationship with Dem Wa Facebook, citing her behavior and personality as reasons. According to Ringtone, Dem Wa Facebook’s high expectations and her behavior at Obinna’s live recording show have deterred him. He commented, “Dem Wa Facebook hawezi kua bibi yangu kwa sababu ako na tamaa ya wanaume wote,” suggesting that she is too focused on attracting multiple men.
Ringtone further criticized Dem Wa Facebook, indicating that her traits are incompatible with what he desires in a partner. He remarked, “Dem Wa Facebook haezi zaa watoto saba, haezi omba, she is really not my type, that one,” implying that she lacks the qualities he is looking for in a potential spouse.
Despite his remarks about Dem Wa Facebook, Ringtone praised Guardian Angel’s event, noting that it has set a high standard for similar events in the future.
Regarding his own future plans, Ringtone Apoko has hinted at the possibility of marriage next year. While he has yet to meet his ideal partner, he remains hopeful that the right person will come his way. “Naoa next year, lakini sijampata mwenye nataka kumoa lakini mungu atamleta…mimi naendela kujipanga hata gown nitanunua niwe tayari,” he said.
Ringtone has previously mentioned his desire for a partner who is prayerful and capable of having seven children. He has invited women with these qualities to reach out to him, saying, “Mtu anaeza omba masaa saba kwa siku…na mtu anaeza pata watoto saba kwa siku.”
