Raphael Tuju-Leo ndio nimegundua polisi hata awe ndugu yako, sio mtu wa kuamini, na sio rafiki. Polisi ambao nimepea chai juzi, leo hii ndio wananipiga kama mwizi.

Raphael Tuju has sparked debate after expressing frustration over his treatment by law enforcement, saying the experience completely changed his perception of the police.

Speaking emotionally, Tuju lamented that he has come to realize police officers cannot always be trusted—even if they appear friendly or familiar. He noted that officers he had previously interacted with and even supported were the same ones who later turned against him.

“Today I have learned that even if a police officer is like your relative, they are not someone you can fully trust or consider a friend. The same officers I assisted the other day are the ones treating me like a criminal today,” he said.

His remarks have stirred reactions, with many Kenyans weighing in on the relationship between civilians and law enforcement, and raising broader concerns about trust, accountability, and police conduct.
