Gospel musician Emmy Kosgei exposes-There is a lot of hypocrisy among Christians. They are judging people according to their lifestyles, yet themseleves they have their own limitations. Kuna pastors hii Nairobi wanapiga sherehe kwa clubs wanakunywa .

Renowned gospel musician Emmy Kosgei has sparked conversation after speaking out about what she termed as hypocrisy within sections of the Christian community.

In her remarks, Kosgei said many believers are quick to judge others based on lifestyle choices while overlooking their own shortcomings.

“There is a lot of hypocrisy among Christians. They are judging people according to their lifestyles, yet themselves they have their own limitations,” she said.

She further alleged that some church leaders live double lives, claiming there are pastors in Nairobi who party in clubs during the week but preach strict righteousness on Sundays.

“Kuna pastors hii Nairobi wanapiga sherehe kwa clubs wanakunywa lakini on Sundays mkikutana wanaanza kukuambia vile Mungu amewatuma!” she added.

Kosgei emphasized that true faith should be rooted in personal accountability rather than public image. “If God today put a righteousness meter in our blood, many Christians will fail,” she said.

Her sentiments have ignited mixed reactions, with some believers agreeing that self-reflection is necessary within the church, while others argue that such issues should be addressed internally rather than publicly.
