West Pokot deputy governor Titus Lotee, has downplayed the ongoing protests saying that it has hidden agenda against President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza administration.
“These demonstrations are being planned by someone, somewhere.” he noted
He emphasized that today may not be about peacefully commemorating the fallen Gen Zs as many Kenyans believe, but rather about battles in the streets with intentions to access both Parliament and State Hous, Nairobi, while key planners are comfortably dining and watching from their Tvs.
“This suggests that today may not be about peacefully commemorating the fallen Gen Zs, but rather about battles in the streets. It’s sad that those planning these protests are comfortably dining while watching from their screens.” Titus Lotee said.
“What we might witness is treason- the so-called ‘commemoration’ of Gen Z who died last year may actually be a cover for demonstrations and a planned attack on Parliament and State House.” – Titus Lotee
Nevertheless, he encouraged Police are not to kill at protestor but o protect, since if they do, they will be held accountable.
“Police are meant to protect, not kill, demonstrators. If they do, they must be held accountable. The outrage against DIG Lagat seems misplaced.”- Titus Lotee
