The singer gave her followers a sneak peek of the wedding venue, which she mentioned is situated near a water body. Akothee also humorously shared that her husband-to-be requested a water body for the occasion.
Akothee later shared a post confirming the wedding date, with a playful invitation to her followers to attend the wedding. In another post, the excited bride-to-be shared a short video of herself aboard a plane headed to Paris, France.
Her reason for the trip was to shop for her wedding gown, as she claimed that she had not found anything suitable in Kenya. Akothee playfully added that her future husband, Omondi, was a little picky and therefore, she needed to find the perfect dress for the big day.
