Jay Melody Reveals He Wrote ‘Njiwa’ and ‘Hallelujah’ For Willy Paul, ” Zilikuwa Nyimbo Zangu zote”

Tanzanian artist Jay Melody has revealed that he was behind some of Kenyan singer Willy Paul’s most popular songs. In an interview with Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Jay Melody stated that he wrote ‘Njiwa’ and ‘Hallelujah’ for Willy Paul while he was just starting out as a songwriter for big artists. He said that he worked with THT and wrote the songs from scratch, complete with melodies and everything, and was paid for his work.

These songs opened up great opportunities for Jay Melody, as big artists noticed his talent as a songwriter and his career took off. He went on to reveal that he has written songs for several other big artists such as Nandy, Nadia Mukami, and others, some of which have not been released yet.

However, Jay Melody also shared the challenges he faced as a songwriter, stating that most artists do not like admitting that they did not write their own songs, and that the recognition and pay for songwriters is not sufficient.

Despite these challenges, Jay Melody has quickly become a rising star in the music industry and has produced numerous hit songs since starting his career as a musician.
