Pastor Ng’ang’a Gifts Student Ksh10,000 For Spiritual Support After He Drew Him

The divisive Pastor Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism church generously presented a talented artist from Murang’a with a sum of 10,000 shillings as a token of appreciation for creating a portrait of him and his wife.

This second-year university student showcased his artwork during a Sunday visit to the church, capturing the pastor’s attention. The artist revealed that he had crafted these portraits using colored pencils in Murang’a county the previous year, leaving Pastor Ng’ang’a captivated. Inquiring about the artist’s usual pricing for such works, Ng’ang’a was informed that the artist had never sold any pieces but welcomed promotional support.

Initially offering 500 shillings, Ng’ang’a faced resistance from the artist who deemed it inadequate. Subsequently, the preacher raised the offer to 2,000 shillings, an amount the university student accepted. A video captured by Sasa Tv documented the preacher’s decision to further increase the amount from 500 to 10,000 shillings. Ng’ang’a encouraged the young artist to bring others to the church, emphasizing the spiritual support provided to help the young man progress in his endeavors.

In the footage, Ng’ang’a urged his congregation to showcase their commitment to God through tangible actions, such as bringing others to the church. He also shared his own journey, mentioning that he had initially been a member of another church until his pastor advised him to establish his own congregation.

Earlier in the year, Pastor Ng’ang’a stirred controversy by requesting church members to contribute 1,000 shillings as gifts for the festive season. A video circulated online showed the congregation willingly complying with the pastor’s request, with many attendees presenting themselves at the pulpit to deliver their gifts. Ng’ang’a communicated his intention to celebrate Christmas and encouraged the congregation to contribute financially, with some members willingly giving amounts beyond the suggested 1,000 shillings.
