Raila Odinga’s loyal supporter, Nuru Okanga, has sparked conversation once again after claiming that he recently had a frightening dream involving the late ODM leader. According to Okanga, in the dream, he had a deep conversation with Raila, who expressed discomfort with how he was buried.
Okanga said Raila appeared disturbed and specifically complained about being buried with a tie. He allegedly asked that his grave be engraved properly and the tie removed so that he could rest in peace.
Nuru went on to reveal that Raila also expressed anger over the cap he was buried with, saying it made him uneasy every time he saw it. “Baba told me that the cap makes him angry. He wants to be free and rest well, so the cap must also be removed,” Okanga said.
The passionate supporter added that he feels it is the responsibility of both Raila’s family and the government to take his dream seriously. He urged them to act immediately and make the necessary changes to Raila’s resting place.
According to Okanga, the dream was more than just a random vision — it was a spiritual message from Raila himself. He warned that if the family fails to take action, Raila’s spirit might continue to appear to him in his sleep.
Okanga emphasized that this matter is serious and should not be ignored, insisting that fulfilling Raila’s wishes as revealed in the dream would finally allow him to rest in peace.
For many Kenyans still mourning the former Prime Minister, Okanga’s revelation has added a new emotional layer to Raila’s legacy — one that reflects the deep spiritual connection his followers still feel long after his passing.
