Renowned TikTok personality Nyako recently issued a cautionary message to Kenyan YouTubers, specifically addressing Eve Mungai and accusing her of adopting a self-centered attitude following her rise to wealth.
Nyako asserted that Eve’s current financial status was significantly shaped by her audience, highlighting that not long ago, Eve was a young individual with limited resources.
“Eve Mungai, your prosperity is thanks to us. You were a mere young woman not too long ago, devoid of possessions. I began following you during your interviews with these young men,” Nyako emphasized.
Nyako continued by reminiscing, “We, the viewers, have played a role in your success, Eve Mungai. You were once an ordinary woman with modest means. I first started following you when you were conducting interviews with those gentlemen.” Nyako also described how Eve’s initial appearance was unpretentious, often seen in basic t-shirts and inexpensive jeans.
The influencer went on to claim that Eve’s wealth had been amassed through exploiting content creators who were unaware of their rights. Nyako took the opportunity to offer advice to fellow content creators like Presenter Ali, Obidan Dela, and Oga Obinna, advising them against featuring Brian Chira in their channel content.
Nyako redirected her focus to Eve Mungai, highlighting that she had not noticed any instances of the YouTuber participating in charitable endeavors. Nyako particularly underscored that despite her absence from philanthropic events, Eve had accumulated riches by taking advantage of unsuspecting content creators, leading Nyako to straightforwardly label her as self-serving.
Responding to Nyako’s remarks, Eve Mungai’s partner, Director Trevor, stumbled upon Nyako’s video and retorted with a comment, dismissing Nyako’s viewpoint as unwarranted noise. Trevor also recalled a previous incident in which Nyako had allegedly threatened to report one of his Facebook videos, although no such action had been taken on that threat up to that point.
