“Nisaidieni Niko na Mtoto Mdogo,” Magix Enga pleads for help

Celebrated music producer Magix Enga has made a heartfelt plea for financial assistance from kind-hearted Kenyans, disclosing his current challenging circumstances and the urgent need for financial support to care for his one-month-old baby.

In a candid Facebook post, the producer opened up about his struggles, admitting that things are far from fine. Despite his numerous contributions to the music industry, he expressed frustration that some artists had taken advantage of him, preventing him from reaping the benefits of his work.

He wrote, “Many of the songs I’ve produced, such as ‘Dundaing,’ ‘Watoto na Pombe’ (Otile Brown ft. Enga), ‘Maja,’ ‘Mapenzi Hisia,’ and more, have not brought me the benefits I had hoped for. As I write this, I have a one-month-old baby boy who depends on me.”

Magix Enga went on to reveal that he had attempted to get back on his feet, but his recording studio had to be closed due to unpaid rent, leaving him without a source of income. Despite these setbacks, he remains confident in his abilities as a producer and believes that he can make a comeback with the right assistance.

“I tried to rebuild, but my studio was shut down due to rent issues. I still believe I’m the best producer. For instance, the Gengetone beats I created, like the widely popular ‘Mamiondoko’ and ‘Digidigi’ by Arrow boy, with over 10,000,000 views, haven’t earned me a single cent. I’m currently without employment.”

Earlier this year, Magix Enga shared a heartfelt message reflecting on his challenging circumstances. He admitted that life had taken a toll on him, despite his talent. In a plea for understanding and support, he apologized to anyone he may have wronged, expressing his deep affection for his fans.

“Hey, everyone, life has taken me to a place I can’t comprehend. I cherish all of you deeply. Despite my talent, I’m not doing well. I’m going through a lot, and I don’t know why. Please, if I’ve hurt anyone, I apologize. More love to all of you.”

A while back, a distressing video of Magix Enga, clearly affected by substance abuse, captured the attention of Kenyans. In the video, he appeared disoriented and shoeless. It was revealed that he had been grappling with drug addiction and depression since his career took a downturn some months ago.
