Police in Homabay are investigating the murder of a Grade 7 Pupil who was found dead hours after she was reported missing.
The deceased who has been identified as Mary Teresa went missing under unclear Circumstances while heading home for Lunch, her disappearance caught the attention of her mother who informed other residents who immediately started searching for her.
The search ended after her body was found found in a bush, it had been dumped near her home, her body was taken to the mortuary by Police officers who visited the scene of the incident after being alerted by the residents, an incident that caught the attention of several Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to call for the arrest of the suspects who were involved in her death.
Suba North member of parliament, Honorable Millie Mabona who also took to her different social media platforms to speak on this sent her condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, she called upon the Police to conduct an investigation in order to arrest her killers.
According to the reports given by the MP, the deceased had been raped by the suspects who burned her body with acid, her private parts had also been burnt with acid by the suspects who immediately fled from the crime scene leaving her body.
Her mother, Christine Atieno revealed her daughter was killed in a brutal manner adding that she was her only daughter. The tearful woman called for the arrest of the suspects who were involved in the murder of Mary.
Christine Atieno: “She was my only daughter, she knew our situation and would always tell me that she was going to be a Surgeon.
