Kevin Kioko Bahati, a former gospel singer who transitioned into secular music and politics as a former parliamentary candidate for Mathare constituency, recently took to the public stage to showcase his wealth.
Bahati revealed that he is currently one of Kenya’s top-earning musicians through brand endorsements. Despite not releasing any new music for over five months, he has been receiving substantial payments each month.
He compared his earnings to the salaries of many Kenyan members of parliament, claiming his income surpasses theirs. Bahati also highlighted his luxurious lifestyle, noting that he drives a high-end Range Rover, which is beyond the reach of many MPs.
He attributed his financial success to the lucrative deals he and his wife, Diana, have secured with various brands. This endorsement income has allowed him to continue thriving financially, even in the absence of new music releases.
