A 60-year-old woman from Tanzania has surprised many by falling deeply in love with a 27-year-old man and tying the knot with him. Despite their significant age difference, the couple has decided to take their relationship to the next level and walk down the aisle.
Yusta Lucas Lucas, in an interview with Mbengo TV, shared her journey of finding love again after the passing of her first husband. Having been married before and having children from her previous marriage, Yusta experienced three years of loneliness following her first husband’s demise.
Yusta disclosed that her late husband had left behind a substantial amount of wealth, which she currently manages. It was during this phase of her life that she encountered her future husband at one of the shops her late husband used to frequent.
“When my husband died, he left a lot of wealth behind. So, my husband-to-be and I met at one of the shops my late husband used to visit, and I found myself attracted to him,” Yusta explained.
Yusta took the initiative and made the first move on the young man, captivated by his charm. She shared, “I was the one who made the first move. He used to come to my shop, and I would offer him food. I would cook for him and place it somewhere for him to pick up.”
Her young partner expressed his feelings towards Yusta, emphasizing that age was irrelevant in their relationship. He stated, “I see her as a lady who is 20 years old. She possesses everything every other woman has. Women of my age are stubborn, and I don’t have time for that. I have other issues to deal with at the moment. In life, focus on the things that bring you joy.”
Due to the unconventional nature of their connection, their love story has garnered attention. Despite the skepticism from some regarding the significant age gap, Yusta and her partner are dedicated to their relationship and aspire to build a future together.
