A woman whose lips experienced sudden swelling two years ago has finally uncovered the cause behind her unusual condition. The woman, known as Barakatu Lasisi, addressed the viral speculations surrounding her lips, which had swollen to about four times their normal size.
She clarified that her condition did not result from any lip surgery, but rather from an allergic reaction triggered by something she had consumed two years ago. Barakatu Lasisi recounted her frustrating journey in seeking medical assistance to alleviate her lip condition.
Despite her persistent efforts, including visits to multiple hospitals, various tests, injections, and an array of medications, the treatments failed to yield the desired results. She emphatically stated, “I did not undergo lip surgery deliberately. I believe there is no benefit in pursuing lip surgery, and I did not apply any pink lip balm. Instead, this enlargement is the result of an allergic reaction to something I consumed, which I am still working to address, even now, two years after it initially occurred.”
“I’ve gone to like three different hospitals for tests, injections and drugs but it’s not working out. I’ve taken a lot of drugs even the one that almost killed me. I’ve taken lots of injections from three different hospitals, I’ve spent a lot of money. I decided to stop taking drugs so I won’t cause harm to my system because the antibiotics were too much.”
