Edday Nderitu, the spouse of the renowned police officer Mr. Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu, who is also celebrated as the iconic figure in Kikuyu Mugithi known as Samidoh, has held a prominent position in the world of Kikuyu music and live performances for the past decade.
In her pursuit of a more private and low-profile life, Edday has opted to stay out of the limelight. However, she does maintain a presence on social media where she expresses her thoughts on a variety of subjects. Her decision to do so stemmed from a memorable encounter during a visit to Dubai, where she found herself engaged in a heated argument about her romantic interests with the well-known city lawyer and potential senatorial nominee, the Honorable Karen Nyamu.
Edday openly acknowledges on her Facebook page that she draws inspiration from the life of Pastor Kiengei’s spouse. In her own words, she has stated, “If I were to lose this bet, it would simply mean returning to a simpler way of life, not a substantial loss—just a humble return to my roots.”
