Juliani and his wife, Lillian Ng’ang’a, initially kept their romantic relationship discreet, treating it like a closely guarded secret. It was only this year that they chose to be more open about their private lives.
In a low-key ceremony, the couple tied the knot and welcomed their first child without attracting media attention. Breaking their silence on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, Juliani decided to update his fans on the aspects of their lives that were previously shrouded in secrecy.
The proud father of two shared a series of photos chronicling their parenting journey, from Lillian’s pregnancy to the present. The couple celebrated a significant milestone as their son turned 16 months old.
“From a black and white pic on the doctor’s screen to a full human being. Utheri Ler turns 16 months old today! Looking back at these pictures and videos of when he was younger, we are filled with gratitude. 🥳🥳🥳 We couldn’t be happier!” Juliani expressed.
Lillian Ng’ang’a and Juliani, whose real name is Julius Owino, exchanged vows in an exclusive wedding at Paradise Lodge on February 2, 2022.
Their relationship started in June 2021, two months before Lillian publicly announced the end of her marriage to Tourism CS Alfred Mutua. The official separation between Alfred and Lillian took place on August 15, 2021, followed by Lillian seeking a restraining order against him.
The couple welcomed their first child, Utheri, on July 23, 2022, but kept the birth a closely guarded secret. Juliani only revealed the news during an interview with Presenter Ali in September 2022, explaining that they chose to keep their private lives off social media.
Despite being public figures, Juliani emphasized that he and his wife preferred not to parade their family on social platforms. He shared, “I have two children, a girl and a boy. I welcomed a baby boy recently with Lillian Ng’ang’a. I did not want to say much about it, but we got a baby, so I am a father of two. The truth is, as a father to a baby boy, you are not involved as much. I can’t even compare the experience to when I was parenting my first-born daughter, whom I sired with actress Brenda Wairimu. Raising my newborn boy is an entirely different experience.”
