Jubilee Party Members Divided On Whether Uhuru Should Embark On A Nationwide Tour To Woo Back Voters.

Members of the Jubilee Party are now a divided lot on whether the party boss, President Kenyatta should embark on a countrywide tour to win back voters to the party.

One group says that President Uhuru should tour the country urgently to revamp his lost glory after the recent Humiliations by Ruto’s UDA party in Kiambaa.

“Currently, between the government, politicians, and the public, there is communication breakdown.”

“He must go to the country to bring that synergy and connectivity in these three groups,” Keynan Adan, Eldas MP said.

His sentiments were echoed by Murang’a County Women Rep, Sabina Chege who added that for Uhuru to gain his lost followers, he must tour the country and open up new projects.

“It’s a good idea for the President to come and emphasize the unity of the mountain as he opens up the new projects and meets opinion leaders,” Chege stated.

Another group led by Jubilee Party Deputy Secretary General, Joshua Kutuny said that Uhuru is still popular and does not need to politic.

“We do not need the President to come to the ground because as a party, we have our own programmes to re-energise and popularise the party.”

“So far, we are getting a lot of positive responses from the grassroots after a good performance in Kiambaa,” Kutuny stated.
