Jaguar & close Friends Raise Over Ksh 1 Million For Colonel Mustafa

Famous Kenyan musician and politician, Charles Njagua Kanyi, commonly known as Jaguar, and his circle of friends recently provided support to fellow musician, Colonel Mustafa.

Jaguar pleasantly surprised Mustafa with a special gift and promised to pay a visit to Mustafa’s mother, who is currently battling cancer.

Jaguar emphasized that Mustafa is a valued member of their group of friends, and they have been contributing to his cause since he is like family to them. He clarified that their actions are not intended to gain media attention but are simply a way of assisting a friend in need.

The musician revealed that even if there had been no viral video of Mustafa working at a construction site, they would have still helped him out. However, Mustafa never shared what he was going through with them until the video became popular.

Mustafa’s life took a dramatic turn, grabbing public attention, when a video of him working at a construction site became viral. Mustafa had been absent for a long period and was captured on video carrying construction bricks. He had taken up a week-long contract at Donholm construction to pay for his mother’s medical bills.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, Mustafa appealed for support from well-wishers to care for his mother. He mentioned that he needed a job or capital to start a business, which would enable him to put food on the table and take care of a few expenses.

As of last weekend, a group of well-wishers, spearheaded by Fauz Khalid, had raised about Sh600,000 to assist rapper Colonel Mustafa and his family, and others were still sending in their contributions.
