Karen Nyamu has developed a strong admiration for French football player Kylian Mbappé after ending her relationship with Samidoh, the father of her children. On December 19, 2022, Nyamu took to Facebook to reveal that she was travelling to France to meet Mbappé, as she could not control her feelings anymore.
In her post, Nyamu wrote, “We are going to France! Last night, I couldn’t sleep because of that boy Mbappé. How old is he? It doesn’t matter because I am older, and I will add to his age. #Mbappé.”
This announcement followed her recent revelation that she had ended things with Samidoh after the Dubai scandal. Nyamu, who is a first-time senator, stated that women often face challenges in relationships and that she had made a conscious decision to break the pattern.
Despite the public nature of the breakup, Nyamu expressed that she was not embarrassed by the events that unfolded in Dubai. In fact, she stated that she did not regret anything but promised that such incidents would not occur again.
Nyamu had previously vowed not to leave Samidoh since they had young children together. However, she later clarified that she would leave behind the drama and alcohol, not her baby daddy.
“I do not want drama in 2023. Those who claim that I was drunk are mistaken. I was having fun on stage, but next year, I will quit alcohol and drama. We must raise our children together,” Nyamu said.
